I'm not entirely sure what the conduit seen in some of the pictures is for.

When I later returned to this crossing for a better video over a year later, it was still in place without any visible work having been done.

A southbound military train comes through with an H3 ES44DC leading an H2 Dash-9 and a "Fakebonnet" Dash-9!

...but the malfunction keeps the gates lowered for a while after the train has passed.

 

Eventually the signals shut-off after I'd shut-off my camcorder and was putting it up into my car.
