This crossing was protected by a pair of crossbucks originally. According to Google Street View, one crossbuck post was still standing back in 2013 and the rails were still visible in the road, but the road has since been redone so both have dissappeared.

Also, according to the FRA, the revision to the inventory report stating that the crossing was closed was filed on April 30, 1990, but the one accident here occured in September 2, 1990!

I wouldn't be surprised if CSX had a train pulling up the line at the time that happened to hit a car here.
