This signal has all Safetran 12x24 inch lights. The front lights are cocked at two different angles to act as side lights! For whatever reason, CSX tended to do this in the 1990s and early 2000s, even though it's technically an MUTCD violation, IIRC. Not to mention it just doesn't look good. |
This signal has a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell! |

A return trip to the crossing on 6-26-22 finds a small upgrade here. |

The first signal has had two of the three gate lights on it replaced with NEG LED gate lights. It still retains a RECO LED gate light, however. The front lights were also re-aimed so that they face the same way now. |
