Overall, my August 11, 2005 trip to the Grand Canyon was a disappointment. I left Williams after getting the train across Rodeo Rd. Heading Northward, I took some side roads to find some other crossings. Most of my finds were either crossbuck crossings or private crossings. Anyways, I had a 30 minute head start to the Canyon, when I realized that to get into the canyon, you're forced to pay $20.00!!!!
The line to get in was so long, I had to wait 25 minutes to get in, and that wait cost me the chance to get the train to come in.
