This signal has 8" side lights, and 12"x20" incandescent main lights. Kind of unusual.

There's also a WCH type 2 electronic bell here as well.

 

Van Ness Ave. used to be (60 plus years ago) the main entrance to Fresno off of what was then Highway 99. The "Fresno" sign across the street is pretty old. There probably was a wigwag at this xing when that sign went up.

There's also a mechanical bell on the signal.

A small update was taken on March 12, 2007.

 

Take a look at the rear lights of the 12"x24" on the opposite signal. The right light doesn't work!


Other than that, nothing else has changed.
