A close-up of the northern signal.

This crossing is in between an orange orchard. Things are pretty quiet other than semi-heavy traffic.

Take a look at picture #1, all lights are 12", but the left light has a 20" background while all the other lights have 24" backgrounds . Both signals also had mechanical bells.

These pictures were taken July 22, 2003.

The 20" background is still here. This signal has a General Signals type 2 electronic bell now.

Here's a picture of the northern signal. It now has a WCH type 2 electronic bell.

A good close-up of the signal, and the 20" background.

However, the right light seen in pictures 15 and 17 has also been replaced with a 12"x20" background. Check picture 3 for a comparison.
