Side note: The soil you see along the side of the road is preload to allow the soil to settle so a road can be built on it. This is farmland so the soil is very soft.

The crossing has been reconstructed and there are two
temporary signals in place to protect the new side of the road while
the old side is being worked on. In picture 14 you can see the
foundation for a cantilever signal next to the signal.

156 St. is west, 168 St. is
east.
A return visit in 2019 by The BC Railfan
shows the road widening project has been completed, and new cantilevers
were installed to replace the new gateless signals at the
crossing! Old McLellan Road is also still blocked off.
