West signal on Hwy. 10.

Side note: The soil you see along the side of the road is preload to allow the soil to settle so a road can be built on it. This is farmland so the soil is very soft.

12

A new temporary signal being constructed for a future lane detour. The lights are 12"x24" and are L.E.D.

13

14

The crossing has been reconstructed and there are two temporary signals in place to protect the new side of the road while the old side is being worked on. In picture 14 you can see the foundation for a cantilever signal next to the signal.

Side note: Old MacLellan road no longer crosses the tracks, it has been turned into a dead end street. This is the first LED crossing on SRY!

Geography:
156 St. is west, 168 St. is east.

A return visit in 2019 by The BC Railfan shows the road widening project has been completed, and new cantilevers were installed  to replace the new gateless signals at the crossing! Old McLellan Road is also still blocked off.
