This is my fifth bell in my collection. Like the other bells in my collection, this one I got off of eBay from a seller in North Carolina in which I won from an auction back in January of this year.

Front view of the bell in which looks eactly identical to my other Safetran mechanical.
Back view of the bell.

The side of the bell. This bell is a 2nd gen like my other Safetran mechanical bell. Note the grey paint that can be visible over the shotty repaint job, this bell is a former SCL (Seaboard Coast Line) bell as it was once installed on a crossing somewhere on a former SCL line.
The door features the "Safetran Systems Corp Louisville, Kentucky" label on the back of the bell.

The rainshield has the "AL214MMF" stamped in the middle. More than likely this is a part number like on most Safetran mechanical bells.
The inside of the bell.
The label on this bell is exactly the same as the label on my other Safetran mechanical bell along with being in the same spot as the other bell as well.

The internal components is the same as I mentioned in the Safetran M Bell #1 page, although this one more dirtier. When I first got this bell, it was nonfunctional, but I have done repairs to make this bell functional again as mentioned in pics 9-11.
The wire that connects to the positive terminal from the platform deal which is located by the nut you adjust the ringing rate to originally came completely destroyed so I had to make a new wire to connect to the positive terminal.
The positive and negative terminals are spaced out like on my other Safetran mechanical bell. Note the repair job I had to do on the positive terminal.

The wire that goes to the electromagnent was also disconected to the positive terminal, and needed to be reconnected. Not the most prettiest repair job, but it does work again.
The paper work on this bell is still intact after all these years. Like my other Safetran mechanical bell, this one is also a loud tone version.
The part number for the door on this bell is the exact same part number as it is on my other Safetran mechanical bell.
