A return trip to the crossing on 8-15-23 finds that the crossing has been removed and the signals removed!

The foundations of the second signal and cantilever still exist where they once stood, but nothing remains of the newest CSX signal that was at this crossing, nor does the foundation of the relay case remain.

At the time of updating this page (12-28-23), the FRA still had yet to mark that this crossing was closed, as the most recent inventory report from 2022 still lists it as open.

The two mast signals and the relay case were left laying in the signal dump by the Cartersville yard office. There was no sign of the Safetran cantilever that this crossing used to have.

Definitely glad I was able to get this crossing filmed back when I did, it's a shame to see it's gone now though.
