pedestrian gate. This is one of two Federal Signal pedestrian
gates left on the Mendota Sub, and possibly in Illinois. The
other is just west of here at Exchange St. |

In September 2020, we see the pedestrian gate was stuck in the down position and the sidewalk was blocked off as a result. This was like this for several months. |

In June 2021, we see the FS pedestrian gate was replaced with a US&S one. This specific mechanism came from the old northern signal at Kent St. in Kewanee. The old FS gate at Exchange St. is still there. |
