This crossing is located on the CN Matteson Sub, formerly the EJ&E Eastern Sub.  UP and BNSF have trackage rights on this line as well.

These signals replaced a pair of older gated signals with 12"x24" incandescents, Safetran gate mechanisms, and a Safetran mechanical bell in late 2011 during the double tracking of this line.  Click here to see a video of the old signals.
