This, the last known wigwag in Indiana was first seen on Dan's Wigwag Site. The last known picture was taken January, 2000.
These photos were taken in August 2004. If you look at the before picture and these, you'll see some different things...Things don't look too different, but there are differences. |

Picture 4 shows the trackage. I wonder why there's a spur that goes nowhere?
Pictures 5 and 6 show the change. The old bell was a teardrop bell. It's now a General Signal Electronic bell! The targets don't look too bad for their age. |

Here's an overview of the crossing. The wigwags came close to activating. There was a train nearby, but it never made it to the crossing. It went in reverse and out of sight.

The wigwags were retired sometime in 2005, and later on, the mast got 12"x24" LED light frames.
