![]() Platted in 1839, New Haven originated as a village upon its creation and named after a town with the same name in Connecticut. Later became a town in 1865 and a city 1963, New Haven formerly served the NKP and Wabash in the main part of town, and the PRR south of town. Today, Norfolk Southern runs their Chicago, Fostoria and Huntington Districts through the town, with the CF&E operating their Lima Subdivision south of here. |
