| A collection of signal parts
sitting by a shed. Included are a Griswold Stop signal with the
rotating sign loaded on a trailer and a WRRS harp wigwag. Both might be
put in service soon on the line. |
A return visit in September 2024 shows the Griswold signals have completely disappeared!
I went to every crossing on this last trip looking for any changes to
anything and I never saw those signals either in service or stored in a
shed.

The wigwag signal. It was not powered on when I was here.
The sign in photo 13 says:
MIDWEST CENTRAL RAILROAD
FOUNDED 1960
THIS MEMORIAL SIGNAL SWINGS IN APPRECIATION FOR STAN MATTHEWS AND THE
VOLUNTEERS OF THE MIDWEST CENTRAL RAILROAD BECAUSE OF THEIR DEDICATED
SPIRIT AND THEY HAVE TIRELESSLY GIVEN OF THEIR TIME AND ENERGY TO
REDTORE AND OPERATE OLD LOCOMOTIVES FOR THE EDUCATIONAL BENEFIT AND
ENJOYMENT OF PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS.
I'm still unsure of when they power this signal, but I assume it's usually sometime during the Labor Day Weekend.

The trailer for the Griswold signal is still here, but the signal itself has vanished.
| This relay case was right next to where the EM signal (now used at Pedestrian Crossing) used to stand.

A quick look inside the
shed reveals no crossing parts appear to be stored here. However there
is a room that I could barely see the inside of that is unauthorized
for non personel. There might be crossing stuff there but who knows.
