The milepost is an estimate, as the latest inventory report is from 1990 when the crossing was "closed". The road was relocated in summer 2016 for a new parking area.

According to fellow railfan Lorenzo Cobb, this line has been embargoed due to issues being dealt with on the trestle over the Kennebec River connecting Waterville and Winslow. Although no trains are coming down this line currently, service is likely to resume in the near future.
