The WCH mechanical bell replaced a mini bell around 2000. This crossing has the last GRS 8" lights on the Downeaster line.
According to the accident report, a 52 year-old dude was hit by a 70 mph Amtrak train and only sustained injuries. That dude must be built like a tank if he can do such a thing.
