Older low quality Google Maps Streetview imagery taken from April of 2008 shows the southern signal originally featuring a WCH Mechanical Bell along with both signals having incandescent lights. By 2011, the bell on the southern signal was replaced with the current WCH Electronic Bell, and the lights were upgraded to LEDs. Sometime in 2023, the Electro-Tech gate lights on both signals were replaced with the current NEG Clear LEDs along with the ENS signs being repositioned.

The bell on the southern signal is a WCH Electronic Bell which only rings when the gates are lowering, and rising, although they did used to ring the entire time for a short time before UP reinstated the original MoPac bell sequence here due to business complaining.
