For decades, an ancient (1940s perhaps) GRS setup protected this crossing. Circa 2006, the signals were replaced by Guilford with a mixture of new and used WCH equipment. One Aurora LED insert on the western signal was later replaced with a WCH second generation LED insert, and the WCH mechanical bell eventually replaced with an NEG electronic.
As of March 2025, a local usually runs through this crossing once in each direction on Mondays and Thursdays.
