These signals have evolved from a very old (1950's perhaps) B&M install, but still retains some original equipment. The western mast signal appears a bit newer than the eastern. The original WRRS mini bell was replaced in the late 90s/early 2000s with a relocated 1st gen WCH mechanical bell, and the WCH/WRRS base replaced in the 2010s with a Safetran version.
As of March 2025, a local usually runs through this crossing once in each direction on Mondays and Thursdays, and makes switching moves between the adjacent sidings. Coal trains to Bow ran from time to time until recently, but are on currently on hiatus with an uncertain future.
