Pictures 1-27 were taken on April 21, 2024, by Highball Artist.
This crossing is located on the CSX Nashua Subdivision.
Page created by Highball Artist (using HopenRXRTools 1.3.0).
For decades, an ancient (1940s perhaps) GRS setup protected this
crossing with a few upgrades over the years. Circa 2005, the two gated
signals were replaced by Guilford with relocated WCH signals, one of which with a
Federal Signal mechanical bell. The two other mast signals remain.
As of March 2025, a local usually runs through this crossing once in
each direction on Mondays and Thursdays. Coal trains to Bow ran from
time to time until recently, but are on currently on hiatus with an
uncertain future.
