In late 2018, I came back here and discovered new signals were being installed here.  I waited around for a little bit to hopefully get a train, but sadly nothing came.
Both new gated signals, and a new western side signal were installed, but no eastern side signal.  Plus the new eastern signal doesn't have side lights

Photos of the progress.  I was told by mid 2019 the new signals were activated.  I don't know if an eastern side signal was installed or if the main signal received sidelights.

By 2020, the new signals were finished. The new signals however are slightly different to the ones seen above. The new western signal no longer has a bell now and the eastern signal has a side mounted bell, plus the eastern signal now has side lights when it didn't before. I don't know if these are entirely new signals masts or if they modified the ones seen in the above pictures.
