The 3 accidents are listed under the 518429B DOT
tag, which is for the unprotected crossing. The 518428U DOT tag does not
have any accidents listed.
I have something interesting to say about this crossing, but I'll put it at the end of the page.

Overview of 2 *reused 90s CR* gated signals facing east.
| Overview facing west. |
|
The western signal. I don't want to ask about why the base for this signal has a WCH and Safetran combo.
|
|||
|
The eastern signal.
|
|||
|
The relay bungalow.
|
This crossing's grade is made of wood. |
Track view facing north towards Harding Way. |
Track view facing south towards Parson Street on the Columbus Line or Market Street on the Mt. Victory Subdivision. |
| There is an additional
crossing a few feet from the main crossing that is protected by a
crossbuck. This seems to be on the original alignment of the NYC
Cleveland to Indianapolis route, but has now seen better days. |
|||
| Now here's something to take
note on. Here we see these PUCO photos from the late 90s that shows two
older gated mast signals from the NYC era with 8"x20" incandescents,
WRRS gate mechanisms and no bells. |
|||
| And those were still there
by 2014! With one having a newer crossbuck and one having a Harmon
fonted crossbuck. Both signals had also recieved track signs at the
time. |
