PUCO photos from the late 90s shows
two gateless signals from the NYC and PRR era with
8"x20" Safetran incandescents and a WRRS? Mechanical
Bell. The bell used to be mounted onto its own pole
until the early 90s when it was moved to the northern
signal. By 2002, both signals were replaced with the
current setup as seen below, making it the first
crossing upgrade ever done in London. Also of note,
there used to be a signal bridge close to this crossing
(as seen in Picture O3), but it was removed in 2019, a
year after the wayside signals here were replaced. On
another note, there used to be a traffic light signal
near this crossing, but it was removed in 2015.
