In the early 2010s, this whole crossing was replaced with a full quad gated setup. As seen here, these signals originally had the early version of NS's blue DOT sign, which are very rare to come by these days. By 2017, they were replaced with normal ones.

In September 2025, NS Railfan discovered all the lights were upgraded to LED. I'm still surprised to see that the median signals still retain the very early blue DOT tags NS used, but now they're faded.

If you look at Picture 10 and watch the videos below, you can see that this crossing features 2 Quiet Zone Indicators. Along with Root Road and Chestnut Ridge Road, this is one of the few early 2010s NS setups to feature Quiet Zone indicators, and one of the few pairs on NS, with 6 in Vermilion, 5 in Springfield (the rest are Wayside Horns), 2 located in Suffolk, VA, and 2 in Edison, NJ (the Suffolk one is on ex-N&W territory and the Edison, NJ pairs are on Conrail's Lehigh Line.)
