This crossing is located on the former EL route from Chicago to either Buffalo, NY or Jersey City, NJ, but is now a NS-owned branch coming off of the Fort Wayne Line and ends 6 miles west of here.

The northern signal. Perhaps the most notable feature of this crossing is that it has not 1, but 2 WRRS Mini Bells. I'm not sure if this is the last crossing to have a WRRS Mini Bell duo in existence, but seeing this crossing with 2 Mini Bells was an absolute treat.
