In the 2000s, this crossing was upgraded to 2 gated signals. At the time of the upgrade, the bell here was a General Signals Type 2 E-Bell. Then, sometime in the late 2000s, this crossing, along with Cemetary Road, Buena Vista Road and Newlove Road (the latter of which is in Springfield) had its bell replaced with a Safetran Type 3 E-Bell.
