PUCO pictures from the late 90s shows a gateless NYC setup with 8"x20" incandescents on the mast, GRS LEX-C 8"x20" incandescents on the side for the northern signal (the last and probably only known pair in Springfield), and no bells. By 2008, both signals were completely replaced with two gated cantilever signals and a wayside horn was added to the crossing.
