PUCO pictures from the late 90s shows two gated mast signals with 12"x20" incandescents, Safetran gate mechanisms and no bells. While these signals have remained the same into 2025, the only change it really got in the 2000s was an LED upgrade.

In April 2026, I (Sir Fluent), discovered all the lights were very strangely upgraded to even newer LEDs, even though this crossing already had LEDs previously.
