PUCO pictures from the late 90s or early 2000s showing what looks like Penn Central era signals with 8" lights, early Safetran gate mechanisms, and a Safetran Mechanical Bell. By the mid to late 2000s, NS replaced these with more modern Safetran signals. Originally they had incandescent lights, but were upgraded to LED by 2018.

The southern signal. This was one of the first two crossings on the Chicago Line to get LEDs. Why this one got LEDs earlier than almost all others, I'm not sure.
