This crossing is located on the UP Graham Line.

From what I was told, this crossing is one of 2 public crossings within an 80 mile stretch! This crossing is gateless, which is a plus. The signal in picture 1 has 12"x20" Safetran incandescent lights and a WCH type 2 electronic bell.

The signal in picture 2 is shameful. UP foolishly put up a 24" disc on the left light. The bell here is a Safetran mechanical though. The signal is smaller in size than the signal in picture 1 is.

Picture 3 faces West, back towards Portland.

Facing East, towards Hood River, OR.

The relay case, covered in heavy graffiti, which I've been told isn't that old.

This crossing is on the outskirts of Portland. Kind of surprising to see all the graffiti in picture 5 in an area like this.

Note: The latest FRA report states that Amtrak uses these tracks. They haven't for a long time, although Amtrak could come back one of these days...

A return visit in March 2026 by Angels Railfan And More shows the new gated signals at this crossing!
