The Saftran Comes To Life
Hey guys. I have modified my Safetran 12x24 light even further. The sequencer has not been completed yet, but it will be don soon. I have modified it in a "green" way. I am getting the same amount of light that it is put out by the primary socket when hooked up to a control box with relays, but only ...

Yea. It takes a bit of power to light it up lol. Glad you like it. This one is great condition for how old it is.Smjh1979 wrote:Pretty cool. Hard to imagine a little light powering the whole 12" area.

 Hey, guys. Check out my newest aqquisition. It's a 12x24 inch Safetran Systems Corp railroad crossing light. It is powered by a 110 plug for easy lighting in basic houses. I got it from ebay a while back, but haven't been on here in a while until now. I hope you all enjoy these pictures.

Re: Interesting Railroad Crossing Combination
Yea I have to agree. I was amazed to see soooo many different companies on one setup. Especially a non-gated setup lol. They call Culpeper, VA the historic small town. Now I see why. Very few of our buildings have rebuilt or brought to modern standards. The same applies to our Railroad system too ...

Interesting Railroad Crossing Combination
Hey. I saw this odd setup here in Culpeper, VA where I live. I was confused. I have never heard of some of these companies. One logo I couldnt read. You guys look at these photos and let me know what you think. Notice the open mechanical bell hatch open. I am going to report it before rain gets in ...

My Railroad Crossing System
Hey, guys. I just thought I would let ya see this. It took alot of work, but in the end it was worth it. My railroad crossing system isn't yet at 100% completion, but close enough to let you all see it so far. I still have to put flashers on the other side and remove the large wood frame behind the ...

Re: Old Mast and Flasher only in Culpeper, VA
I can't see the actual signals... just the lights.
Yea. Thats what sucks. Unfortunately, daylight savings time has ended and 7:55pm in Culpeper, VA looks like 9:00pm lol. Earlier in the summer it was still hard to catch this train because it was late almost everyday due to high summer congestion ...

Re: Remington, VA gets new Crossing System.
Yea thats true. I wish the Amtrak would fly through earlier when we can see better. Its hard because the Amtrak Crescent #19 is the only train that I know comes at a certain time. I am saving up for a scanner but not enough yet lol. Thanks for your help though guys.
