old WRRS lens retainer ring
Have recently come across a "parts light" which provided nearly everything I need to reassemble the (missing) innards of one of my old cast-iron WRRS lights.
One part remaining to find is another lens retainer ring (sorry if that's the wrong term) to replace a broken original.

Re: UP Great Excursion Adventure/the Little Rock Express
Just for the record, a bit more of my 'history'. Wanna be clear to the Mods and everyone else that I'm an equal-opportunity (amateur) railfan. I don't all that much care what "brand" is on anybody's rolling stock (except for those odd 'vintage' unpainted-over relics from the past you come ...

Awesome vids, legsbluetrain!!
Will you be aboard tomorrow too, or around once #844 gets to North Little Rock? It'd be fun to actually meet a "local" fellow forum member!

Ummm...whaaa???
Gee, I just thought it might be fun to share with y'all. I don't know anything about 'voting politics' at all that -- I didn't cast a single vote myself, personally -- the opportunity for the trip is a gift of a friend.

Re: anybody know what this lamp is?
THANKS SPL, for the further clue -- I would have guessed that's what the ditch lights were, but better to know for sure!
Thanks also for the pic of the fixture. Again, I guess, sorta what I would have expected...like everything else connected to a railroad, lots of heavy steel welded very securely ...

Re: anybody know what this lamp is?
Thanks, guys, for the good words! So it really *is* a loco light...?! OK, that's QUITE sufficiently  -- certainly a worthy addition to the collection on the shelf, no doubt! I'm glad I picked it up!
