I am looking for a single Griswold Safety Signal Company crossing light for a rotating banner signal. This light would look similar to the A style crossing light, but would open and close using a locking latch on the bottom, and would mount from the top.

WCH 12x24" LED Signal Head For Sale
Not sure if there's going to be any interest in this, but I have a 12" LED insert from a WCH 12" crossing signal. Works fine, good shape. I also have the aluminum body from the signal, with the two small plastic side-view inserts. No background or visor unless you really want one, I might be able to ...

Re: Griswold Bell
I recently purchased a number of crossing bells, including a Griswold, and the RACO equivalent. What I found interesting, was the fact that the RACO bell still has the old "GRISWOLD SIGNAL COMPANY" lettering cast into the rear door (although roughly, and not very visible), with "RACO" just above it ...

Re: Bell only crossings
17th Road in Dalton, WI has a bell only crossing. Unsure if there was ever a wig-wag here or not, but the base and mast of this bell are clearly from a wig-wag. Picture here on my Flickr. http://flic.kr/p/atHkkG

Re: Cantilever Signal Identification
It occurred to me while driving around today, that the origins of that cantilever is actually a traffic light! Didn't get a chance to shoot a photo of one, but once I get the cantilever installed (I just bought it for my collection), you'll be seeing more of it.

Cantilever Signal Identification
Was wondering if anybody could identify the manufacturer of the 2 signals that guarded the Hwy 33 crossing in Horicon, WI. The lights on these signals are Griswold Type Bs...one signal has a Safetran Base, where one appears to have a base from a traffic signal.

Re: Griswold Crossing Gates
Not necessarily the gate or the mechanism. The entire signal. Something that would show configurations on ordering the complete signal, or something that would show how they were originally equipped. Most of the Griswold (EMs I've heard them referred to as) that I've seen have red/white gate arms ...
