Some news out of Sarasota. The SGLR has removed equipment and ripped up their trackage through Sarasota starting from Fruitville Road and points south.
That's very sad, seeing a railroad be ripped apart only to be replaced by a damn trail.
Do you think any of the equipment could be salvaged ...

Agreed that they're for decoration. They're also both kinda in-line and on the same side of the tracks

Wouldn't surprise me if any of it rotted due to the elements. It had also been neglected for many years - why upgrade the mast lights but not the cantilever lights

I know that I'm a little late of posting this but on January 14th, 2020, Microsoft ended support for Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008, meaning those people still using those operating systems need to upgrade to Windows 10 to continue to get security updates. It is still possible to continue ...
