Yes. I can move the bell arm and make it ring. Everything moves like it should.

I put 12v on the magnet by it’s self and the magnet worked like a charm. I’ll attach a photo of what mine looks like but I just can’t see anything that could be wrong with it. I’m using a car battery for the 12v just for temporary use but could that but part of the problem?

I’m having trouble getting my dads safetran mechanical bell to work. I’ve cleaned it up, checked all wires, replaced diode on positive post, checked magnet coil and nothing seems to to work. I can get a spark on the contact points but wont pull the bell arm off the contact point. Do you think the ...
