Lots of vintage equipment on them, from the looks of things.

I've seen clips of that Top Gear special on YouTube a few times. Especially that infamous challenge where they drove into Alabama with those slogans on their cars. As for the crossing itself, I can't tell what mechanical bell once existed at the crossing before it got upgraded. Looks to either have been a wch or modern industries. I do recall RailROL82 filming this crossing in action in 2017-2018 as well.NathanFromEngland wrote: Wed Feb 17, 2021 3:47 pm In the Top Gear: USA Special, the meeting point when they buy their cars is at the back of the Casino Miami (under the name of Miami Jai-Alai Fronton) at the time of recording in 2006, in the background is the Northwest N River drive railroad crossings, and there are certain sections in the video where Tri-Rail trains come past the crossing. I believe RailROL82 has recorded at this crossing a few times around 2017-2018 since I recognised it.
The only changes that I can work out was the lights on the Lincoln Industries(?) cantilever and the far left gated signal received an LED upgrade between 2007 and 2011 and the General Signals bell presumably being replaced with a type 3 whilst the 1960s/1970s Seaboard cantilever's lights on the top have had 75% of them replaced with LEDs except for the one on the right with removal of the mechanical bell between 2007 and 2009 but already having a Safetran Type 2 on the gated mast, a guideway for the Miami Metrorail was constructed in 2011.

As for the spur crossing, the only changes were replacement of the General Signals bells with Safetran Type 3's between 2015 and 2017 and the spur being taken over by the SFRTA from CSX, one of the gate masts lights on the left was replaced with a WCH 12x24 inch light between May 2017 and May 2018.

Warning: There is quite a lot of 'jokes' towards Americans and especially Southern people in this special, not much in this video section apart from the Chevrolet being previously owned by a "murderer"

Not sure if this counts, but an update to this. I was watching this other scene of Driving Miss Daisy here: https://youtu.be/un-oLzi175Y?t=113ColeD wrote: Sat Mar 16, 2019 10:05 am In Driving Miss Daisy, there's a brief scene where they drive over tracks and you can see the signals and bell.
