Those are in fact traffic light sections.
I like the Crouse-hinds Art-deco and Eagle Flat-back Signals they have there:

These signals (at least the masts) look pretty ancient. Check out the one light in the middle posing as a side light (I guess?)

I found another strange signal on this line. It has traffic signal heads and a Wig wag for some apparent reason

I actually first learned of that Wig Wag through Dan's Wigwag site.. here's some pictures of it from 2001 of it being active, and with a much cleaner coat of paint: http://www.trainweb.org/dansrailpix/WIG ... htm#marion

I think this signal is on it's 3rd time around on this forum. :Tongue1:

For those seeing it for the first time, the above thread has some video's of that signal (and a few others) active. I like the fact that the "regular" lights are timed to flash in sync with the wig wag.

So I came across a recently uploaded video that features quite a few signals on this line. The wishbone gates are in there, along with a crossing that has to be manually activated. Towards the end you will see a few of the signals that have the traffic light look to them, which now appear to have LED's in them. Enjoy!

I thought it would be worth bumping this thread to mention that the wishbone gates are gone! :Awww: At least the signals remain. I wonder why these crossings and the other crossings on the line never made it to the site when Kight got the crossing with the wigwag. I'd like to take a road trip to this line!

Edit3: Still weird seeing gates in front of the signal.

Edit: Here are the wishbone gates for Carbon St.!

Edit2:

Yea, it's a shame that the wishbone gates are now gone. I think at least Tommy and I and maybe Gillson and possibly Paul all have known about those wishbone gates having been removed for a while.

Apparently, one of them used to be on the site but was removed, if an older post somewhere else on this forum is to be believed...

The wishbone gates also had lantern gate lights. Quite a shame they're now gone...
