Those lights look a bit low if a truck comes along

Strange that the crossbucks are mounted on the backside of the signals and not the front. Double sided perhaps, but the text is obscured in the proper approach lanes on the right, and not the left being mounted that way. I guess it could have been intentional though, seeing it was set up most likely before a proper MUTCD was adopted.

Just a plain ol' split crossbuck. Once very common, but near impossible to find now.
