Off beat bell
I'm not sure if this has been posted here before. This is pretty odd, according to someone in the comments it has been fixed.

Re: Off beat bell
Sounds like a WCH that's starting to wear out. It seems that some WCH mechanicals, especially the newer ones, will do this naturally due to the cheaper manufacturing processes for the bells, but I still love them all the same. In fact, my WCH bell does this even though it's brand new and has barely seen any use, but I don't mind it too much. Seems to be just the way it is. Doesn't seem to get any worse or better though:

This is the only crossing that I know of with L&N lights, at least I think they are as the light brackets are L&N.freebrickproductions wrote:Looks to have been L&W lights there originally...ToledoRailfan wrote:This crossing is also on the site.

Also, that's L&W's current light design. Their older ones were a lot more plain looking:

Their 8 inch ones appear to have just been smaller versions of the 12 inch lights and looked a lot like Transport Products Corp. lights (including having the large ring around the lens), but have a rather weirdly-shaped visor on them.

Re: Off beat bell
Do older WCH bells do this, or just the newer ones?

Re: Off beat bell
Both it seems. For the older ones, it's typically due to age.ZachL wrote:Do older WCH bells do this, or just the newer ones?

Re: Off beat bell
Interesting! I wonder what material could be wearing out then on newer models to start that symptom up sooner.freebrickproductions wrote:Both it seems. For the older ones, it's typically due to age.ZachL wrote:Do older WCH bells do this, or just the newer ones?
