I don't know if this counts, but one railfanner actually owns one of these bells! Some of you have probably already have seen these videos. BTW, these videos are not mine! They belong to MobileRailSpotterRxR.

One bell I believe on the NJT HBLR at Pacific Avenue crossing. I know it looks like a WCH bell on the other signal, but they don't sound like WCH E-Bells as Freebrick can verify for himself. https://goo.gl/maps/UpWT55AX2vMfYPLj6
Those probably do produce their original tones. The ones you're thinking of are the dead ones at that one pair of pedestrian crossings at a station on that same line.
Oh yeah to finally put that to bed on this thread. I know there's other means of communication we resorted to prior but for anyone who finds this, yes, he's right. The WCH E Bell was dead at one point and was either replaced but both sound off as of 2020:
