What kind of bell is this?

Surfing around on the same line I was looking at above (from the teardrop bell topic), I found this one:

It almost looks like a hybrid, but not really. The signal itself has a cabinet at the base. I'm thinking that could have been a wig-wag signal at one time.

It probably was a converted wig wag back in time. That bell IS a hybrid cabman. The one on the other signal appears to be a Safetran.

You can actually find this signal in one of the old threads on the site ( not exactly sure where though). It was mentioned that the signal had been either hit or vandalized so good ole sjvr just threw some flashers on and called it a day!

The SJVR claims that wigwag was stolen, but from the pictures I've posted to this site:
http://www.rxrsignals.net/California/R- ... ocan/2.jpg, I'm of the opinion the last bracket finally gave way, and the motor & banner (350 pounds) fell, and then were likey stolen. Or perhaps picked up by a SJVR employee who wanted to cover up.
