And this one is confirmed to be there still, as a person on YouTube filmed the crossing recently, showing that the gate arm is still there and still used!
The gate mechanism on the other side is broken though, dropping the gate when it starts to lower and then almost dropping it twice as it raises:

That might be why that gate light is broken.
If Mr. Allan Smith stood under that he would either get his head broken or get lucky and have his head go in between the gate :LOL3:

So you either expect him to suffer a fractured skull or a concussion. (That's the two ways that i know of head injurys and also trauma)
