Proud owner of a Safetran 3rd Gen M-Bell, a GS Type 2 bell, a dead GS type 1 bell, a WRRS M-bell, and a US&S H-2 searchlight signal.
Why does everyone copy my signature?

OG signal collection signature, I think. :LOL2:

That bell replaced a WCH E-Bell, which had lost the cap on it, this had lead rainwater to build up inside the bell and caused the bell to die IMO.

still rather interesting that they replaced it with a safetran type-one and not a gs e-bell or even another wch electronic bell.
As of 2019, the Safetran Type 1 has now been replaced with a General Signals Type 3 Electronic Bell.

Found this hybrid bell on the KCS Mexico Sub just outside of Alma, Missouri.

It replaced a gs e bell!!!! Gotta love KCS when they reuse old bells at times

Another hybrid bell on the Mexico Sub, but this time on a crossing in Marshall, Missouri.

I have known these good installs for awhile, time to show you them (if you haven't seen them yet lol).

First off, Lakeview Parkway in Vernon Hills, IL... this line is pretty dead, but this crossing has 4 HYBRID BELLS!

Second, we are gonna head up to Wisconsin, in Silver Lake.
There are 4 crossings with Safetran Type 1's.

The first, County Route F: (Says Salem in the town name but it's very much near Silver Lake)

Then County Route B:

Park Street:

And finally, Lake Street:
