Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Far median signal: 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs.
Near median signal: 1 pair of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with GE Uniform Look LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.

On January 15th, several hours before class, I heard what sounded like the HMCR heading north. Unfortunately, I took a bit too long to get going, and, by the time I was able to catch-up with them, they'd already finished-up for the day. As such, I decided to swing by the signals at Huntsville Storage, and saw that NS appeared to have something coming east. Sure enough, it turned-out that 286 was working in downtown Madison, so I decided to wait around for it. After a bit of waiting, the signal at the east end of Huntsville Storage downgraded to approach, and I hopped on over to this crossing for it. After a bit more waiting, I was finally able to get my only train of the day: NS 286 with a pair of AC44C6Ms for power. Interestingly, this 286 didn't have the cut of mixed freight on the rear it typically has.

Apparently, sometime within the past couple of months, NS gave this crossing an LED upgrade. Not sure if there are plans still to replace the mast signals here with cantilevers, or if ALDOT's decided just to go with this LED upgrade instead. Thankfully, nothing else too major seems to have changed to this crossing, and it even still retains the Australian-esque bell sequence.
