*originally recorded on 3-30-22*

Signal on the left: 1 pair of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, 2 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Harmon 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, 1 pair of Safetran 12x24 inch lights with GE Dotted LEDs, a WCH mechanical bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.

After catching the AN at Telogia Creek Road, I chased them up to the next crossing north, which is this one on FL 12 on the south side of Greensboro. This crossing is a fairly nice one as well, featuring what appears to be a mid-90s AN install. The crossing was pretty much fully original up until sometime between 2013 and 2017. In that timeframe, half of the lights were replaced with re-used Safetran 12x24s and all of the lights here were upgraded to LED. Since then, however, no major changes appear to have occurred here. That being said though, sometime between 2018 and 2021, the gate arms here were both replaced and the closer signal received a set of NEG LEDs, replacing a set of NEG gate lights like what the other signal had.
This crossing is pretty neat, being one of only two active gated crossings on the AN. This crossing is also the only one along the line to feature Harmon lights, which is pretty neat too, IMHO. The WCH mechanical bell here still sounds fairly decent as well, so hopefully it'll be around here for years to come.
This is also the only active Florida State Route the AN crosses. They used to cross a few other state routes at their signalized crossings (FL 65B, FL 270, FL 270A, and FL 268) but those were all decommissioned years ago when the interstates were built and turned into signed county routes.
They/Them for me, please.
