*originally recorded on 8-25-23*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights with Dialight Ball LEDs, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, Progress Rail(?) LED gate lights, and an NEG LED gate light.

After the train passed at Clemmons Road, Elliot met back-up with me and told me the Star was about to run an extra train back to Nashville due to the Tennessee Titans football game that evening. As such, I decided to set-up here, and, at about sunset, this westbound Star train came flying through, deadheading all the way from Lebanon to Donelson, where it would wait at the station for about half an hour, before continuing onto Nashville, with the pair of F40PH-3s for power once again.
Although there were technically two more moves it was to make after catching it here, Elliot and I decided to head on and get some supper before returning back to our homes, as those next to moves would be at night.

This crossing is another decent one, being a mid-2000s NERR install that's still largely original. It appears that both signals originally had Safetran Type 2 e-bells, and all of the gate lights here were originally the Progress Rail(?) ones, but the tip one on the closer signal died young and was replaced with the current NEG LED by 2009. Then, sometime between 2009 and 2011, the bell on the closer signal was replaced with a General Signals e-bell, most likely a Type 2. Next, sometime between 2011 and 2018, the far signal had its gate lights replaced with more NEG gate lights, and, sometime between 2015 and 2018, the bell on that signal was replaced with the current GS Type 3.
In 2018, the first GS e-bell on the closer signal died, and was replaced with the current GS Type 3 e-bell. Finally, in 2019, the gate arm on the far signal was replaced and all of the gate lights got replaced once again with the current NEG LED gate lights. Since then, no major changes appear to have occurred here, though earlier this year the closer gate arm was replaced with the current one, though the gate lights were thankfully re-used. I suspect at least one of the Progress Rail(?) gate lights here will be getting replaced soon-ish though, given that it appears to be quite dim when lit.
