*originally recorded on 12-6-23*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Federal Signal 8 inch lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Federal Signal 8 inch lights and an NEG electronic bell.

After catching M575 in Bowling Green, I went back east to this crossing on the eastern edge of Bowling Green that'd I'd missed earlier with I142 as I heard there was an M212 approaching. After a while of waiting here, I was able to catch CSX M212 flying through with an ES44AH leading an AC44CW.

This crossing is another great one, featuring a 1970s L&N install that's still mostly original. In the early-2010s, it appears, CSX sadly replaced the bell here with the current NEG electronic bell, but, thankfully, these classic 8 inch signals have remained otherwise entirely unchanged, especially since. Hopefully these classics remain around for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm glad I was able to film them when I did.
Also, apologies for the trouble my camera had focusing, I didn't entirely realize I'd need to set it to manual focus to film this crossing.
