*originally recorded on 9-28-24*

Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 3 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Safetran 12x20 inch lights, a General Signals Type 1 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG gate lights.

After catching 346 in West End-Cobb Town, I was heading east into Anniston for another train when I saw that I'd caught-up with 346, so I decided to chase it east. Decided to head for this crossing, as some videos here from @ACs_Trains showed that it may still have a GS Type 1. Either way, I was thankfully able to beat it here with a bit of time to spare, and here we get to see NS 346 once again.

This crossing is another nice one, featuring a late-90s NS install at it that's still decently original. It appears that by the late-2010s/2020, the GS e-bell on the far signal had died. As such, sometime between 2020 and 2021, the bell on the far signal was replaced by the current GS Type 3 e-bell. Thankfully, however, that has remained the only major change to this crossing, and the closer signal here thankfully still retains its original GS Type 1 e-bell! Hopefully these signals remain largely unchanged for many more years to come, but, either way, I'm glad I was able to get this crossing recorded when I did.
