Signal on the left: 4 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a General Signals Type 2 electronic bell, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 3 pairs of Safetran 12x24 inch lights, a Safetran gate mechanism, and NEG LED gate lights.
After catching 395, I met-up with my friend DeloreandudeTommy and we waited for the next train of the day. Unfortunately, we wound-up having to wait at least three hours before something finally showed-up. Either way, we were able to get what was my fourth train of the day here: NS 154 with a solo AC44C6M pulling on the head-end and another AC44C6M working as the train's DPU.
This crossing is a rather nice one, featuring another 1980s NS install at it. The signals here were still fully original well into the 2000s, but, sometime between 2008 and 2014, the original Safetran mechanical bell here was replaced by the current GS Type 2 e-bell. At about the same time, the closer signal had the closer side light replaced with a newer Safetran 12x20 inch light. Since then, however, the only major change here appears to have been that the lone 12x20 here had its background swapped-out for another 24 inch one sometime between 2014 and 2019. Thankfully, no other major changes appear to have occurred here, and this crossing still has the bell here ring when the gates rise as well! Always nice to see that for sure.
