Proud owner of a Safetran 3rd Gen M-Bell, a GS Type 2 bell, a dead GS type 1 bell, a WRRS M-bell, and a US&S H-2 searchlight signal.
Why does everyone copy my signature?

OG signal collection signature, I think. :LOL2:

Here's a $1,875.00 safetran hybrid bell going up for sale. Price was originally at $2,500.00 but the seller put a 25% off on it. What a major rip off, especially since the seller claims it's "untested". With the price this bell is going for, you can almost buy a complete signal for that much money. Or even a cheap car.
Proud owner of a safetran mechanical bell and Griswold mechanical bell along with a pair of safetran 12x20 lights and a 8 inch light. Been a fan of trains since I was little. Main place I railfan on, The Sedalia Sub.

Want to say that was the same Hybrid that was listed without a gong back in June as an auction and reached bids of over $3,000 before the seller took it down. As a side note, the gong they've stuck it with doesn't appear to be an actual Safetran gong.
They/Them for me, please.

This price seems a little too high... just a little.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/125046207227?h ... SwXmRhtJAq

So many things wrong with this listing.

1. The auction price is $3,550 + $20 for shipping, which is way too much for a WCH e-bell, even brand new!
2. It's listed as "vintage". I don't think that bell is vintage.
3. It's also listed as untested, meaning you could be paying $3,550 for an e-bell that doesn't even work.
Proud owner of too many things.

GE B40-8W's are the best. Well, uh, maybe with some exceptions...?

Safetran M bell up for sale without any of its internal components, rain shield, and gong.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/363672193397?_ ... BMpKm9m8Jf
Idk if I would even pay $65.00 for this "empty case" of a bell. Not sure if the seller bought this bell for parts or what.

Update. I did manage to find some of that bell's components up for sale, but not all of them such as the gong and the rain shield.

The striker component up for sale. Hammer appears to be in good shape.

The cast bracket is also up for sale as well.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/363629705260?h ... SwznhhmmHc

And lastly, the bell terminal that is used to determine how fast you want the bell to ring.

I've noticed the seller has the individual inner components going for the same price of $25.00 while the "empty case" of the bell is going for $65.00. Personally, I think this bell is not worth buying especially if you have to buy all of the components just to get the bell to work again.

literally everything on ebay is overpriced nowadays. for some reason hybrids are incredibly expensive, upwards of $400 to $500. facebook marketplace is just much better tbh
